David Corben has been presented with the Wilkinson Sword by Surrey Golf and selected to play for GB&I in the Concession Cup against the USA.

At the recent annual Surrey Golf lunch at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club, David Corben was presented with the Wilkinson Sword for Outstanding Services to Surrey Golf. David is only the 17th recipient of the trophy since its inception in 1979. Surrey President, Jack Buchanan praised David's leadership of the county first team over the past four years and his and the team's golfing triumphs, before David was presented with the trophy by Surrey Golf's patron, Peter Alliss.

Following on from this honour another has swiftly followed, with David having been called up to play for Great Britain & Ireland against the USA in the Concession Cup at The Concession Golf Club, Bradenton, Florida.
